It was the first day of the year

In a very cold place

There was a little girl who sold matches

In a place where it was freezing cold

There was an absent little girl

Because in her mind

She traveled somewhere else

And wanted to stay there.

“The Little Match Seller” (based on the tale by Hans Christian Andersen) proposes a reflexion on social alienation and explores the idea of a simple and playful confort, metamorphosing the daily sense of happiness protection and confort. The little girl starts to liberate her self from a sad reality fantasizing pleasant and surreal moments as only alternative to the maximum exponent of suffering and loneliness.
